Located at the heart of the city, the hotel guides its guests from the lively, retail-focused streetscape to serene private spaces through a series of three courtyards. Each is a simple shape: a circle, a square and a rectangle. The courtyards' shapes, symmetry, and orientation, borrow from traditional Beijing architecture and planning principles.
